Our Impact

Vermont Birth to Five focuses on improving the quality and capacity of child care programs across Vermont. Every effort involves tremendous collaboration with State agencies, non-profit organizations, and individual child care programs.

We engage directly with child care providers to address the challenges and opportunities of the physical and emotional environment they create for a child in their care each and every day. We know that every baby step we take together has the power to create a lasting impact for children. With great responsibility for a child’s well-being should also come a great sense of fulfillment for providing connections for their positive development. We strive to bring about measurable change and we believe strongly that behind all the quantitative data there are also qualitative ways to gauge our impact from the stories of real people and real improvements that get to the heart of our mission – the children.
